Tracy Munson

Tracy Munson is an international award-winning Master of Photographic Arts and Accredited Professional of Animal Imagery. Her pet photography work demonstrates an innate connection with her subjects and her deep understanding of animal behaviour, cultivated during over 25 years working in the animal care field as a Veterinary Technician and shelter worker. She is deeply committed to creating a fun and positive experience for the animals in front of her camera, and believes that this is the key to capturing the personality-filled pet portraits that her clients love. While living in Toronto, Tracy took every opportunity to escape the city and her rewarding but stressful job in one of the country's largest Animal Shelters. For many years, she explored Canada in a tiny car, with her partner and assistant, Graham (known to the dogs as “treat guy”), a tent, and 2 chihuahuas. After seeing it all, Atlantic Canada kept drawing her back and in 2018 she escaped city life for good, relocating to beautiful Albert County, NB to pursue photography full-time. Getting to photograph horses more often is one of Tracy's favourite things about country life!
