Clint MacNichol

My name is Clint, a commercial photographer. Late in 2024 I discovered 'horse people' after one of my clients invited me to a barrel racing event., and now I'm hooked! You would think, a photographer's first instinct would be to capture images of the events, the action. However, the more I observed behind the scenes, the more I was drawn to the relationship between horse & rider. Part of my goal is to find authentic subjects to photograph and 'horse people' certainly fit that description. No one invests the time and effort into a horse, simply on a whim or because of a trend. Often times, I will be asked for direction by my clients, my reply "All I want you to do is hang out with your horse, I'll do the rest". Dusty, sweaty and spent, after a competition or simply spending quality time together, those are the images I want to capture for you.
