Margaret Burlingham

I became serious about photography when I acquired my first race horse and wanted to capture better images. That horse, Saint Leon, became a multiple stakes winner and I was hooked on race horses and photography. My stable is Oak Rock Racing LLC.

Race horses, the rural landscape, and our crop farm in Wisconsin are my usual subjects and I'm represented by Gallery 223 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

I'm currently an independent contractor with Coady Photography at Arlington Park and shot the 2018 Breeder's Cup at Churchill Downs. I also volunteer with the race horse rehoming groups in Chicago, Galloping Out and CANTER-Chicago taking conformation shots.

My photography has been published in The Horse, BloodHorse, Florida Horse, and Jefferson County Tourism and Parks publications. I also sell farm and equine stock photography.
