Cynthia Fleishman

Horses and photography~I’ve been captivated since I was a toddler. An itinerant photographer walked the neighborhoods of Toledo, Ohio with his camera, his pony, a child-sized cowboy hat and tiny chaps. I would sit on my grandma’s front porch steps for hours waiting for the ‘Pony Man’ to arrive and subsequently cry for hours when the adventure came to an end. Those photographs are among my most cherished memories to this day. Horses and cameras still define my happy place. I’m a life-long student of horses and photography and this marriage of my most deeply felt passions brings out the best in me. My work blends artistic vision and deep connection with my subjects to memorialize the essence of the equine spirit in each magical moment.
