Abigail Boatwright

Abigail is an experienced equine photographer, specializing in western stock horse disciplines. Her images have appeared on over 24 magazine covers. She shoots editorial, portraits, commercial and lifestyle images and has an extensive equine stock library. A lifetime lover of horses, Abigail grew up riding and showing Quarter Horses, and competed for Texas A&M's Equestrian Team. Graduating with a degree in ag science/ag journalism (and with internships at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and American Quarter Horse Association's publications ) she began working for the American Paint Horse Association's magazines in 2007. She progressed to becoming an assistant editor before starting her freelance business in 2011. In addition to photography, Abigail writes for more than a dozen equine and lifestyle publications, and has won multiple awards for her work. Abigail is located in Fort Worth, Texas, with her husband and two children.
