Wild Horse Photo Safari in Northern California
Oct 19-22, 2017

Please join us for our annual fall photography workshop.
The workshop will take place at Montgomery Creek Ranch (MCR). A 2000 acre wild horse sanctuary and wildlife preserve located near Elk Creek, nestled in the hills of Northern CA. Over 200 wild horses run free in a landscape of long valleys, rolling hills, and digger pines.
This four-day workshop will be guided by MCR founder Ellie Phipps Price and photographer Tara Arrowood. We will cover the entire creative process from observing light, shooting, editing and post production workflow.

Tara Arrowood is a well respected equine, lifestyle and fine art photographer based in San Francisco. Tara’s work has been featured in over 40 magazines and blogs, including Horse Connection Magazine and Horse & Style Magazine. Her current exhibition is at the Sonoma Horse Park.

Montgomery Creek Ranch is a Wild Horse Sanctuary in Northern CA dedicated to raising awareness about America’s wild horses and burros and providing a place where people and horses connect.
$2000 / person -meals and lodging are included.
Participants must provide their own equipment and transport to and from the ranch. Please note, Elk Creek is approximately 110 miles from Sacramento airport.
